Signing of the contract for the construction of the Novi Vinodolski bypass, Croatia
The project envisages the construction of the Novi Vinodolski bypass, which will later coincide with the left route of the future A7 motorway. The newly constructed bypass will be 9.8 km long, of which 6.5 km will be part of the future motorway, and the rest will be part of the D8 state road.
Construction of the Novi Vinodolski bypass will be demanding, as it is based on a difficult relief with numerous natural characteristics. During the construction, the focus will be placed on the construction of the two most demanding facilities on the route, namely, the Zagori tunnel with a service pipe and the Ričina viaduct. The left side of the Zagori tunnel will be an 834-meter-long road pipe, while the right-hand side of the tunnel is planned to be a 770-meter-long service pipe. Pillars in the height of 15 to 52 meters are envisaged for the Ričina viaduct, in the length of 1057 meters. The deadline for the completion of works is 36 months from the commencement of works.
