During the reconstruction we newly asphalted 140,877 m2 in three layers, mounted 12 km of steel safety fences and 8.2 km of concrete safety fence in the middle separation lane. We also executed 14.2 km of concrete curb elements by using concreting technology with slide paneling. We replaced the existing hydroinsulation and cover layers on 11 underpasses and the Ribnik viaduct, where all four dilatations and a bridge pourer were replaced. During the second part of renovations, we asphalted with a new finisher Vogele Super 2100 – 3i with the upgraded system Big MultiPlex Ski to eliminate longer unevennesses on sublayers. Besides the new finisher for asphalting, we also used an additive for asphalt Vogele MT 3000-2i that greatly contributed to a more even placement and better quality of the installed asphalt.
