Kolektor Koling, as a lead partner of the consortium, will ensure the D4 category for the entire railway between Zidani Most and Šentilj due to the use of newer transport means will ensure shorter traveling times and higher capacity of the railway. Modernization of the railway means reconstruction of 13.8 km of the lower and upper structure, termination of level passages, rehabilitation of 33 openings, 26 support walls, 1 crossover, 7 bridges, 7 underpasses, 3 subways, and construction of 4 new openings and renovation of the electrical drive network. Works on the railway are completed with partial blockages with alternately closed right or left track. Within the project, a new off-level crossing in Marija Gradec will be made, where due to the termination of the level passages there shall be a new underpass under the railway, new connecting and regional roads, two bridges, several support constructions, flood wall and extensive transfers of utility lines, and construction of a new sewage system for meteoric water.
